Set up Xtream Codes login with your Glomax8k login: 10 steps

1. Find the Xtream sign-in in your player

   In IPTV Smarters Pro, the opening screen offers Login with Xtream Codes API. In TiViMate, choose Add playlist and then the Xtream Codes type. Other apps call it XC, Xtream or API login. If a player takes only a single playlist link, follow our M3U guide instead.

2. Type the server URL exactly

   The address looks like http://line.example.com:8080. It begins with http:// and ends with the port digits. Add nothing after the port, not even a slash or a space. Most failed sign-ins trace back to this one field, so read it back before you continue.

3. Enter the username and password

   Copy both from WhatsApp character for character. Capital and small letters count as different, so one slip blocks the sign-in. Name the profile after the room or the person, such as Lounge, Bedroom or Kids.

4. Let the first sync finish

   The player now downloads channels, listings and on-demand menus by itself. You never add an EPG link, because the guide source comes with the login. Give it one to two minutes, or a little more on a stick that is short of memory.

5. See how the login organises content

   Once syncing ends, you get three distinct areas: Live TV, films and series, and Catch Up. Replays appear on archived channels, the catalogue is split into categories, and most players include a search box. A plain playlist in a basic player offers none of that. Xtream players also load one section at a time, which keeps them quick on modest hardware.

6. Set the player for the best picture

   The login delivers each stream at the best resolution its source offers: 8K where an 8K source exists, 4K UHD on a far wider set, and FHD or HD elsewhere. Your player and device decide what you see. Turn on hardware decoding so HEVC plays smoothly, and enable Auto frame rate where the app has it. A 4K stream needs about 25 Mbps.

7. Organise groups, favourites and a PIN

   With channels from 60+ countries, pin the groups you watch and save favourites. Smarters puts a PIN and hidden categories under Parental Control. TiViMate tucks groups away through Manage groups, and paying users also get a parental lock. None of this is stored in your Glomax8k account; each app on each device keeps its own settings.

8. Use the same login on other screens

   Enter the identical three fields on a phone, a laptop or another television. How many of those can stream together depends on your plan: one, two, three or five. A household where four people watch different things in the evening needs the 5-device plan.

9. Keep the details private

   Save a copy in a password manager, or star the WhatsApp message. Anyone holding the details can use your stream allowance and knock your screen off in the middle of a programme. Never post them in forums or groups. If you think they leaked, ask support for a new password.

10. Try another player and add profiles

    The account lives on the server, so testing another app costs nothing: install it, pick its Xtream option and enter the same details. Favourites and locks need setting again, but channels, the guide and plan dates stay put. In Smarters, give each person a named profile with separate favourites and history.

The player only has an M3U field

Sign-in fails although the password is right

Look at the server line before anything else. Most rejections come from a forgotten http://, the wrong port, or a slash typed after the port. If the address is correct, check your plan end date, because Glomax8k plans stop instead of renewing automatically.

A too many connections warning appears

Your plan caps the number of screens streaming together. End playback on one of the other devices, or give a stale session roughly sixty seconds to drop. If it happens often, a plan with one more device solves it for good.

It worked yesterday but fails today

Rule out an expired plan first, since nothing renews on its own. A password change you asked for would also explain it. Send support a photo of the error on WhatsApp and they can check the account quickly.

On-demand loads but live TV is empty

Since films load, your login is fine; the live list on the device is simply out of date. Refresh the Live TV section, or log out and back in. If it stays empty, change the stream format where the app offers it, and tell support which device and player you use.

The first catalogue load is slow

Indexing 120,000+ titles is heavy work for a small stick or an older TV. Put the remote down and wait for the progress to complete. Later launches read a stored copy and open far quicker, so you only sit through this the first time.

The player rejects the URL

A few apps want the host and the port in two separate boxes, though most take one line joined by a colon. Check what each field is called. If there is a port field, enter the address without the port and put only the number in that field.

One title will not play

Open a different film or episode from the same menu to learn whether just this entry is faulty. If only that one fails, send support its name. If nothing on demand plays, change the decoder or stream format and restart the app.
