Set up IPTV Smarters Pro with your Glomax8k login: 13 steps

1. Get the right edition for each device

   Where you download depends on the platform. When we looked in September 2026, Google Play carried no Android build of the app in any country. Android TV boxes, phones and Fire OS sticks therefore install the APK from the IPTV Smarters website or a link from support. Samsung and LG listings vary by model year and region. Windows and Mac installers come from the same website.

2. Use Smarters Player Lite on Apple devices

   Apple hardware, meaning iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Macs with M-series chips, takes Smarters Player Lite from WHMCS SMARTERS. It costs nothing to install. An optional Premium tier was priced at 1.99 dollars in the American App Store during September 2026, and you can skip it: the free build signs in to Glomax8k normally. An Apple TV 4K handles UHD streams well.

3. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API

   Accept the terms on the opening screen, then pick Login with Xtream Codes API. Xtream gives separate live and on-demand menus, episode lists for series, catch-up and fuller guide data. The M3U option works too, but keep it for cases where support suggests it.

4. Enter the three Glomax8k details

   Type a profile name you will recognise. Then fill in the server URL, which starts with http:// and ends with a port number, followed by the username and password. Press Add User. The first sync pulls channels, listings and the catalogue. When it finishes, the dashboard shows Live TV, Movies, Series and Catch Up.

5. Turn on hardware decoding

   Open Settings, Player Settings and keep the default player selected. Set decoding to hardware. The video chip in your device then handles HEVC, which is what lets 4K play smoothly on ordinary broadband. If one title stutters, switch only that title to software decoding in its playback options.

6. Test both stream formats

   Stream Format offers MPEGTS and HLS. Most setups run fine on the default, but some sticks and TVs buffer less on the other one. Change it, then watch a 4K or FHD live channel for a few minutes before deciding. Fast sport is the best test, because motion exposes every dropped frame.

7. Pin the country groups you watch

   Live TV lists categories down the left. With 25,000+ channels from 60+ countries, most homes use only a handful of groups, such as US networks, UK, Canadian, Arabic or Latin American. Long-press OK or open the channel menu to add a favourite. A favourites list turns a large world line-up into one short row.

8. Search films and series by name

   Movies and Series are grouped by category, and every title has an info page with a play button. Series open into seasons and episode lists. The search icon at the top is faster than scrolling through 120,000+ titles. Where a title offers a 4K version, choose it on a UHD screen.

9. Set subtitle and audio languages

   During playback, open the on-screen controls and tap the subtitle or audio icon. Every track in the source is listed there. Many builds also store default languages in Settings, so new titles start in the language you prefer. An empty menu simply means the file carries one track.

10. Line up the guide with your time zone

    Programme data arrives during the first sync. Channel names with no shows beside them mean the guide has not landed yet, so run the EPG update from Settings. If listings sit an hour early or late, EPG Timeshift nudges them in one-hour steps. Time Format nearby switches to a 24-hour clock. Fix the device time zone first, since it affects every app.

11. Replay shows and resume films

    The Catch Up tile lists only channels with an archive. Choose the channel, then the date, then the programme. Archive length differs by channel, so check before relying on last week. For films and episodes, most editions remember where you stopped and offer to continue. Resume points are stored per device, not per account.

12. Add a Kids user with a PIN

    From the user list on the dashboard, add a second user called Kids. It can reuse the same Glomax8k login. Then open Settings, Parental Control, choose a four-digit PIN and tick the groups to hide. Nobody sees those groups without the code, and the Kids profile builds a favourites row of its own.

13. Check your plan before using Multi-Screen

    Android editions offer Multi-Screen, which plays several live channels side by side. Every window is its own stream, so four windows need a plan covering four screens or more, and the 5-device plan is the one that fits. On a 1-device plan, keep to one window. The TV and Apple builds often leave Multi-Screen out altogether.

Fixing common IPTV Smarters Pro problems

The app says the account has expired

Your subscription term has run out. A quick WhatsApp to Glomax8k extends it, and the existing username and password come back to life within minutes. Because no plan auto-renews, you are billed only when you choose to extend.

Menus are empty after signing in

Hit the refresh icon on the home dashboard first; if nothing changes, log out and log in again. Still empty? The server URL is the likely cause, usually a missing or wrong port number after the final colon.

Smarters closes on its own on a Fire TV Stick

A full cache is the common trigger. On the stick, go to Settings, Applications, Manage Installed Applications, choose the Smarters entry and press Clear cache. Open the app again. If crashes continue, the installed APK is probably an old release, and support can send a link to the latest one.

4K titles stutter while HD plays fine

Check that decoding is set to hardware, because software decoding struggles with HEVC. Try the other Stream Format. Then test the line: 4K needs about 25 Mbps held steady, so a cable or a 5 GHz Wi-Fi band helps. A device without HEVC decoding should play the HD version instead.

Films play but live channels will not

Live and on-demand streams travel different routes, so one can fail on its own. Change Stream Format and open the channel again. Make sure a phone or bedroom TV is not holding your only stream. When nothing live will open, a screenshot sent over WhatsApp lets support trace it.

Episodes are missing from a season

Smarters lists the catalogue as it stood at the most recent sync. Refresh from the dashboard, or sign out and back in. If an episode is still missing after 24 hours, send support the title, season and episode number.

Subtitles are missing or show odd symbols

Try another subtitle track if the menu lists one. Strange symbols point to a text encoding the player reads badly, so try a different version of that film or episode. A few files arrive with no subtitles at all, and no setting can add them.

EPG Timeshift changes nothing

A new offset applies only after listings reload. Set it, run the guide update and reopen Live TV. If every channel is off by the same gap, correct the device clock and time zone instead, which fixes all apps at once.

Locked groups are still visible

The lock works only when Parental Control is enabled and a PIN has been stored. Locks are also kept per user, which means a lock set in the Kids user does not cover the main user. Check each profile.

Some settings are missing on a TV edition

The builds for Samsung, LG and Apple carry fewer options than the Android one, and you may find no Multi-Screen or Stream Format menu. Nothing is broken. Your Glomax8k channels play the same way, and where no timeshift control exists, guide times follow the clock of the TV.
