Set up TiViMate with your Glomax8k login: 13 steps
Install the free TiViMate app
On Google TV and Android TV, search Google Play for TiViMate IPTV Player and install it at no charge. On a Fire TV Stick 4K Plus or 4K Max, sideload it with the Downloader app, which works on Fire OS models only. Samsung, LG and Apple TVs have no edition, so use IPTV Smarters Pro on those.
Add Glomax8k as an Xtream Codes playlist
Select Add playlist and choose Xtream Codes. Enter the server URL, username and password from WhatsApp in that order, then press Next. TiViMate contacts the server and shows a summary of the live channels it found, plus on-demand titles if you switch them on.
Name the playlist and drop unused groups
Call the playlist Glomax8k and continue. The next screen lists every channel group. Untick the ones nobody at home will open and keep the country and genre groups you really watch. Nothing here is permanent, so any group can come back later.
Order groups around your languages
Open Settings, Playlists, Glomax8k and then Manage groups. Drag the groups you watch most, for example US sport, UK entertainment or Arabic news, to the top. Hide the rest. A shorter group list scrolls faster and makes a large international package easy for everyone in the house.
Set how often the guide updates
Pick a refresh cycle for listings inside the EPG part of Settings; every half day or once a day both work well. An Xtream playlist carries its own guide source, so you add no extra EPG link. Frequent refreshes help around holidays and season starts, when schedules shift at short notice.
Correct guide times for your zone
Check the device time zone first, since a wrong system clock causes most offsets. If a source still runs early or late, open Settings, EPG, EPG sources, choose it and adjust Time offset in whole hours. Channels from other continents then show their programmes at your local time.
Switch on Auto frame rate
Go to Settings, Playback and turn on Auto frame rate. The TV then switches to the native rate of each broadcast, whether film at 24 or European sport at 50, and camera pans stop juddering. The gain is obvious on 4K films and live matches. On a Fire TV Stick, keep the system frame-rate option off so the two settings do not clash.
Choose a buffer size for your line
Buffer size, on the same Playback page, decides how many seconds of video TiViMate stores ahead of what you see. The Medium setting handles normal HD comfortably. When 4K freezes on a wireless connection, step up one or two sizes; zapping gets a little slower in return. A 4K stream needs about 25 Mbps, so a wired link lets you run a smaller buffer.
Change audio and subtitle tracks
Long-press OK during playback to open a side menu with audio and subtitle entries. What appears depends on the stream, and many live channels carry a single soundtrack. Text size and colour chosen in the Android accessibility menu reach only apps built on system captions.
Run the free version for a week

Buy Premium in Companion if you want more
The only place to buy Premium is TiViMate Companion, a phone app for Android, where you choose a twelve-month or a lifetime licence. That single TiViMate account can then switch on as many as five devices. In September 2026, Google Play showed Companion purchases topping out at 33.99 dollars, though prices vary by country.
Replay and record with Premium
Premium lets you move backwards through the grid on channels that keep an archive and play shows that already aired. Pick an upcoming programme and it can be saved to the built-in memory or a plugged-in USB stick. Keep the device awake rather than in deep standby. A recording in progress occupies one of your plan streams until it ends.
Lock groups with a PIN
Parental control in Settings asks you to create a PIN. After that, mark whole groups or individual channels as locked, and add a lock to the settings pages if you wish. Newer releases reserve this feature for paying users, so when the menu appears grey, Premium has not been activated on that box.
Fixing common TiViMate problems
The playlist fails to load
Check that the server URL ends with its port number, since that omission causes most failures. An expired plan comes second. Type the password by hand, because a hidden space at the end of a pasted one makes the server refuse it.
The guide says No information
Run a manual guide refresh from the EPG menu in Settings, then close and reopen the app. A handful of channels may stay empty because their broadcasters never publish a schedule.
4K channels judder or pause
Turn on Auto frame rate and make sure the Fire TV system option is off. Raise the buffer one step. Confirm the device decodes HEVC and outputs 4K, and that the line holds about 25 Mbps. A cable to the router fixes most pauses in the middle of a match.
Catch-up is missing on a channel
Replays need Premium and an archived channel, which shows a small archive icon in the guide. No icon means no archive to replay. A wrong device date also hides past programmes, so check the clock.
Films and series do not appear
TiViMate is built for live TV, and on-demand content shows only if the playlist includes it and your version offers the switch. Check the playlist settings. For heavy film browsing, Smarters reads the same Glomax8k login and offers proper film and series menus.
Multi-view shows a single window
Multi-view needs Premium, and every added tile opens a separate stream. With a 1-device plan, only one tile can play. A pair of tiles calls for the 2-device plan, while a grid of four calls for the 5-device plan.
A second playlist asks for Premium
Free TiViMate holds one playlist. Buy Premium in Companion, or remove the current playlist before adding another. If you want several accounts on one screen without paying, Smarters lets you create more than one user.
A recording is empty or missing
Recordings fail when storage is full or the folder cannot be written to. Check where TiViMate saves recordings, and format any USB stick the device refuses to read. Make sure the box did not enter deep standby, which stops recording.
The guide is an hour off after the clocks change
When summer time starts or ends, some guide sources take a few days to catch up. Meanwhile, correct the gap with Time offset on the EPG sources page, and reset it to zero after the source fixes itself.
