Clicking the link downloads a file
Nothing is wrong: a web browser downloads a playlist rather than streaming it. Paste the link into VLC or Kodi instead. Should you open the saved file in a text editor, you will just see readable lines of text, and that causes no harm.
Only part of the list loads
Some players stop reading an oversized file, and a slow wireless link can make the download give up partway. Let it finish, then try again over a cable. If it keeps stopping early, switch to an Xtream login, which loads each section separately.
4K channels stutter in VLC or Kodi
Check that hardware decoding is on and that the computer can decode HEVC, which some older PCs cannot. Pause other downloads and test on a cable, since 4K needs about 25 Mbps. If it still stutters, play the FHD version of the channel or ask support for the other stream format.
Kodi shows channels but no guide
